In Nathans My Freshman year she talked about how american students have a lack of interest in other peoples interests and backgrounds. The somolian student said "they don't even ask how i got here" and they're supposed to be their friends. Everyone seems to mind their own business. I agree with this because I've seen it. Ive done it actually. It goes out one ear out the other. i really want to remember it but i just can't seem to get it through. Its not intentional, it just happens. American students aren't very open people. They like who they know and thats it they really don't expand. they're very conservative, but sometimes thats not the case. I also like making new friends. thats why i joined a sorority, and I've already made so many friends.
